over the weekend friend of ours finally took me up on an old offer to do some new portraits for her.

not exactly minimalist/contemporary art or whatever, but i was able hold up my 5d w/grip, 24-105mm lens, and speedlight for long enough to shoot many photos without being wracked with pain. that’s progress! :-)

now if we could just do something about the 100f+ weather that seem to be the other impediment to me spending more time outside with a camera.
